Jean-Daniel Giauque

Jean-Daniel Giauque is the vigneron-encaveur behind Domaine du Signolet in La Neuveville, where he has operated the estate since founding it in 1986. He is a recognized ampelographer and a producer who reduced volume to focus on a smaller, higher-end range, including a notable late-harvest Muscat cuvée from La Neuveville. The domaine is also associated with unusually diverse plantings and more than 30 wines made annually, with vineyard work that includes horse-powered cultivation.
