    i. Biography

    Jérôme Jaegle is the chef-proprietor of the Michelin-starred and Green-starred restaurant Alchémille in Kaysersberg-Vignoble, Alsace, France. Born into a family of butchers and charcutiers, he trained under prominent French chefs including Christian Têtedoie, Jean-Yves Schillinger, and Olivier Nasti. An accomplished culinary competitor, Jaegle won Bocuse d'Or France in 2010 and placed second at the International Taittinger Culinary Prize in 2020. He opened Alchémille in 2015 with his wife Marie-Laure, earning a Michelin star in 2017 for his permaculture- and foraging-driven terroir cuisine.
