John Schafer is the Director of Operations at SingleThread in Healdsburg, California. John graduated from culinary school in Hyde Park in 2009, then spent nearly a decade with Alinea Group as a sommelier, wine director, general manager, and assistant director of operations before joining SingleThread in 2020. He won the 2023 MICHELIN Guide California Service Award for his work at SingleThread.
