John Schrepel

John Schrepel is the master distiller at Still Austin Whiskey Co. in South Austin, Texas, where he is credited by the company with leveraging Texas’s rapid temperature swings to age whiskey and develop complex flavors. He joined Still Austin as head distiller after earlier distilling work in upstate New York, where he said he was running operations at Black Dirt Distillery by age 18.
