Kallie Fernhout

Kallie Fernhout is the viticulturist at Delaire Graff Estate in Stellenbosch. He works in close partnership with winemaker Morné Vrey, matching varieties and vineyard sites across a network that extends from the Olifants River to Napier. Delaire Graff describes a harvest-season route of roughly 15,000 kilometres and a joint decision process grounded in elevation, soil, water availability, grape tasting, and the condition of each block. Fernhout's vineyard work underpins the estate's focus on site expression, fruit quality, and precise picking decisions.
