i. Biography
Kelsey Nel is a South African winemaker at Hartenberg Estate in Stellenbosch, where she joined in 2022 and was appointed winemaker in October 2024. She graduated with an Honours degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Stellenbosch University in 2020 and has been involved in experimental wine trials and mentoring Cape Winemakers Guild protégés at the estate.
