i. Biography
Lïa Gouault is the Head Sommelier at AALIA in Sydney, where she oversees the wine list, works closely with producers, and leads the wine team. Originally from Bordeaux, France, she is classically trained, earned her sommelier diploma in France, and was awarded Best Sommelier Apprentice of France before gaining early experience at Château Valandraud in Saint-Émilion. She later moved to Australia and worked as a sommelier at Felix before joining AALIA in 2023.
