Laurent Vallet is identified in multiple winery technical sheets as the chef de culture / vineyard manager at Château Ausone in Saint-Émilion, where he is responsible for vineyard work alongside the cellar master. A 2025 trade report says he spent two decades with the Vauthier family at Château Ausone before leaving to lead Château Alauda in Muscadet as transition director. Separate industry coverage also associates a Laurent Vallet with Château Montifaud in Cognac, so the name is ambiguous and those records should not be merged.
