Marc Forgione is an American chef and restaurateur known for New American cuisine centered on seasonal, local ingredients at his eponymous restaurant in Tribeca, New York City. He opened Restaurant Marc Forgione in 2008 and later earned Michelin recognition there, while also being identified as chef/owner of Peasant in Nolita and a partner in Khe-Yo. He won Season 3 of The Next Iron Chef in 2010 and has been profiled as a chef who built on early kitchen experience in his father Larry Forgione’s restaurants before advancing through BLT Prime and BLT Restaurant Group.
