Matt Gammell

Matthew David Malcolm Gammell is the co-founder and head distiller of Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh, where he helped establish Pickering’s Gin in the former animal kennels of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies at Summerhall. He is a co-founder and director of Summerhall Distillery, with a mechanical engineering background and prior experience in the crystal glass and property renovation/construction sectors. Summerhall Distillery was founded in 2013 and launched Pickering’s Gin in 2014.
