i. Biography
Nick Gislason is the director of winemaking and viticulture at Screaming Eagle Vineyards in Oakville, Napa Valley, where he has led the winemaking team since the 2011 vintage following a stint as assistant winemaker. He earned a master’s degree in viticulture and enology from UC Davis and previously worked at Harlan Estate in Napa Valley and Craggy Range in New Zealand. His vintages have received high acclaim, including 96 points from Antonio Galloni for 2011 on Vinous and 100 points from Robert Parker for 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon.
