i. Biography
Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta was born in Rome in 1936 and moved to Bolgheri in 1942, later studying at Le Rosey in Rolle and earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Geneva in 1959. In the 1960s he began working alongside his father Mario at Tenuta San Guido, helped develop and commercialize Sassicaia, and expanded the estate’s reputation in foreign markets. He is now cited by the estate as Honorary President/Chairman of Tenuta San Guido.
