i. Biography

Niki Russ Federman is the fourth-generation co-owner of Russ & Daughters, the New York appetizing business founded in 1914 on the Lower East Side by her great-grandfather, Joel Russ. She and her cousin Josh Russ Tupper took the helm in 2009 and expanded the family business with Russ & Daughters Cafe on Orchard Street in 2014 and Russ & Daughters Brooklyn, while preserving the original Houston Street shop.
