i. Biography
Nutcha Phanthoupheng is the proprietor and executive chef of Baan Lao Fine Thai Cuisine in Richmond, British Columbia, where she has built the restaurant around Royal Thai cuisine. She was born and raised in Thailand’s Isan region and later moved to Canada, bringing formal Thai culinary training and prior work as a nurse and cancer researcher into her restaurant career.
