Pablo Álvarez Mezquiriz (Bilbao, 1954) is the CEO of Tempos Vega Sicilia and owner, with his siblings, of El Enebro, the family’s holding company. He was appointed general manager of Bodegas Vega Sicilia in 1986 and became CEO in 1990, a role he continues to hold. He has also served as president or chair of Europvin, and media profiles describe him as the long-time executive behind the expansion of Vega Sicilia into a multi-estate wine group.
