Piero Antinori is an Italian wine producer from Florence who has long been associated with Marchesi Antinori and the Chianti Classico region. Official Antinori materials connect him to Tignanello, and the Antinori family’s Chianti Classico presence is centered at Tenuta Tignanello and the Antinori nel Chianti Classico winery in Bargino. Secondary reporting describes him as the head of the family business and credits him with leading the estate’s modern wine program, including Tignanello’s historic role in the Super Tuscan movement.
