i. Biography
Rachel Bordes is the assistant winemaker at Ram’s Gate Winery in Sonoma County, California, where she helps oversee wine production from the vineyard to the lab and cellar. She joined Ram’s Gate in 2020 as a harvest intern, advanced to enologist in 2021, and was promoted to assistant winemaker in 2023. Bordes studied Wine and Viticulture with a concentration in Enology at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and completed a harvest internship at Tolosa Winery in 2019 before joining Ram’s Gate.
