i. Biography
Ramiro Balliro is the winemaker at Bodega DiamAndes in Mendoza's Uco Valley. Born in San Martín, Mendoza, he studied in the province and trained in wineries in the United States, Spain and France. He has led winemaking at DiamAndes since 2017, combining the Bonnie family's Bordeaux perspective with organic, sustainable high-altitude viticulture, and also teaches emerging oenologists in the Uco Valley.
