i. Biography
Raphaël Rego is a Brazilian chef behind the dual Paris restaurants Oka and Fogo at 8 rue Meissonier in the 17th arrondissement, where Oka is the gastronomic room and Fogo is the braise-focused bistro. Coverage of the 2024 opening describes Oka as his Michelin-starred table and Fogo as a second, more relaxed concept built around Brazilian-inspired fire cooking. He is the chef driving the project.
