Riccardo Cotarella is an Italian enologist and winemaker from Umbria who co-founded Azienda Vinicola Falesco in 1979 with his brother Renzo Cotarella; the estate was later branded Famiglia Cotarella and is now led by the next generation. He has also built a long consulting career advising wineries in Italy and abroad, and he has served as president of Assoenologi since 2013 and as president emeritus of the Union Internationale des Œnologues.
