Richard Picard-Edwards

Richard Picard-Edwards is the Executive Head Chef at Ballyfin Demesne in Ballyfin, County Laois, Ireland, where he joined in April 2023 and led the kitchen to Ballyfin’s first Michelin star in January 2025. He is the Michelin-starred executive chef leading the estate’s kitchen team, and Relais & Châteaux lists him as the chef attached to Ballyfin Demesne in Ireland. Before Ballyfin, he worked at Mandarin Oriental Bittescombe Lodge and Deer Park in Somerset, and previously held senior chef roles at Lartington Hall, Lords of the Manor, and Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in the UK.
