i. Biography
Saiko Izawa is a Japanese-Brazilian pastry chef who joined Rosewood São Paulo in 2021, before the hotel’s opening, to lead the property’s confectionery program across its restaurants and bars. She was previously pastry chef at A Casa do Porco in São Paulo, where she was named Latin America’s Best Pastry Chef in 2017 by Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants.
