i. Biography
Séverine Frerson is the cellar master and chef de cave of Maison Perrier-Jouët, where she became the eighth person to hold the role and the first woman in the house’s 200-year history in 2020. Born in the Champagne village of Sillery, she built her career in Champagne before joining Perrier-Jouët in October 2018 and succeeding Hervé Deschamps after a two-year handover period. At Perrier-Jouët, she has emphasized regenerative viticulture, biodiversity, and preserving the house’s floral style across vintages.
