Taylor Whelan

Taylor Whelan is the Chief Winemaker at Mission Hill Family Estate in West Kelowna, British Columbia, where he is credited on the winery’s official site with leading the winemaking team. He returned to British Columbia in 2011 and joined CedarCreek Estate Winery, where he played a key role in the winery’s transition to sustainable and regenerative farming and in its 2022 WineAlign National Wine Awards Winery of the Year recognition. His career also includes winemaking work in Niagara-on-the-Lake, New Zealand, Australia, and Tasmania, including time with House of Arras and Bay of Fires.
