Tetsuya Fujiwara is the present owner-chef of Fujiya1935 in Osaka, where the family Yoshoku restaurant was renewed into its current form after he returned from abroad. Sources describe him as the fourth-generation family chef behind the restaurant, which traces its lineage to 1935. He returned to Japan in 2003 to take over the family business and reopen it as Fujiya 1935.
