Tony Gemignani is a San Francisco-based pizzaiolo and chef/owner of Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in North Beach, which his official site describes as inspired by a small pizzeria in Naples, Italy. He is described on his own site as a 13-time World Pizza Champion, and reporting on his career notes that he opened Tony’s Pizza Napoletana in 2009 after training in Italy at the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli.
