Véronique Ballu is a co-founder and co-owner of Château Pierre de Lune in Saint-Émilion, a property created in 1999 after she and Tony Ballu bought a one-hectare parcel in the Saint-Émilion appellation. The estate’s website says she and Tony Ballu studied viticulture and oenology at the École de la Tour Blanche in Gironde, and third-party wine listings describe her as one of the young winemakers behind the domaine. The property has been noted for early critical attention and for consulting input from Stéphane Derenoncourt on vinification.
