Virginia Cinque Attanasio is the proprietor of Il San Pietro di Positano, the family-run hotel in Positano on the Amalfi Coast. Official hotel material states that she helped take over the running of Il San Pietro after the death of founder Carlino Cinque, and that she has remained central to the hotel’s identity and guest welcome over decades. Later reporting also describes her as the matriarch and owner of the property, with her sons Vito and Carlo Cinque managing day-to-day operations today.
