Biodynamics and Parcel Wines
Leclerc Briant’s 14-hectare estate is certified organic and biodynamic, according to the producer. That is an estate figure, not a claim that every bottle comes solely from owned vines: the house also buys grapes from certified-organic or converting growers.
A practice with history
The domaine began in Cumières in 1872, moved to Épernay in 1955, and began organic vineyard trials around 1960. Its present catalogue separates classic cuvées from single-vineyard wines, including La Croisette, and specialties. This structure makes farming and site selection visible without treating all its releases as one style.

La Croisette and Abyss
La Croisette comes from a named Épernay plot farmed biodynamically since planting. Abyss takes a different route, with published releases matured roughly 60 metres underwater. The estate’s appointment-only visitor programme can include the vineyard, presses, barrel cellars and vat rooms. The wines available to taste should be checked with the house for the chosen visit.
