His wider signature range stays close to named Burgundian sites: Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles-Vignes, Beaune 1er Teurons, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cherbaudes, Petite Chapelle, and Latricières. Those names are not decoration. They are the working grammar of a maker trained to read wine through place before polish. The house does not need a loud cellar vocabulary for that to register; the method is carried by picking decisions, fermenting decisions, élevage decisions, and the patience to let Pinot Noir keep its line.

A quiet cellar in the Côte de Beaune

The room around the work is quiet by nature: a traditional winery set among Côte de Beaune vineyards, refined without losing the rustic grain of Burgundy cellar practice. The tasting happens as a cave tasting, close to the material rather than staged at a distance. This is an intimate setting, and the scale suits the wines. Volnay and Pommard ask for attention to fine shifts of tannin, scent, and contour; a crowded room would work against that kind of listening.
