Anne-Laure Hernette

Anne-Laure Hernette is the winemaker and ambassador of Domaine de la Bressande in Mercurey, where she has signed the estate’s wines of the Côte Chalonnaise for around 10–12 years, including Rully and Mercurey bottlings. The estate says she originally planned to study archaeology with a pre-Columbian specialty, then changed course after a summer in the vineyards and later earned a degree in winegrowing and winemaking at age 25. She now works with the vineyard manager and team on vineyard policy and oversees vinification, ageing, and blending for each vintage.
