Dan Petroski

Dan Petroski is the founder and winemaker of Massican, the Napa Valley white-wine label he launched in 2009, and he spent years at Larkmead Vineyards, where he rose from cellar master to winemaker. Massican’s official materials describe him as the label’s founder and note that, at Larkmead, he developed a traditional voice for the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon wines. In 2022, he left Larkmead to focus on Massican full-time; later coverage notes that Massican was acquired by Gallo in 2023 while Petroski remained responsible for grape sourcing and winemaking.
