Darioush Khaledi is the proprietor of Darioush in Napa Valley, which he founded with his wife, Shahpar, in 1998 and opened to the public in 2004. He is the site’s family leader and is associated with the estate’s focus on individualism, craftsmanship, and a hospitality-driven visitor experience. He is a wine mogul and philanthropist, and coverage in Wine Spectator notes that he purchased the property in 1997 before transforming it into a Persian-inspired winery and visitor center.
