Gregory Gourdet is a Portland-based chef, restaurateur, and author who is the force behind Kann, a live-fire Haitian restaurant at 548 SE Ash St in Portland, Oregon. Kann opened in August 2022 and has been recognized by the James Beard Foundation as Best New Restaurant in 2023; Gourdet is also identified on his own site as a James Beard Award-winning chef and on the Kann site as the restaurant’s chef behind the concept.
