i. Biography
Hazem Malhas is the co-founder of Shams El Balad in Amman, Jordan, which was first born as a small cafe in 2015 after he renovated the Malhas family homes with his wife, Maha Dahmash. The venue later expanded from a breakfast cafe into a full-service restaurant, design shop, and events space, and its current family leadership is including their children Qais and Karma, with Hazem and Maha identified as founders.
