i. Biography
Ignacio López is the chief winemaker at Campo Viejo in Rioja, Spain, where he moved in 2021 after leading winemaking work in Argentina. Ignacio was born in Mendoza, studied oenology, joined Pernod Ricard Argentina in 2004, and has more than 20 years of experience; a company announcement says he later took over as chief winemaker at Campo Viejo and Pernod Ricard Winemakers Spain.
