Winemaking here is about reading site, variety, and season into a finished bottle. Ignacio López has worked from that premise in Mendoza, then through Cafayate and other parts of Argentina, before arriving at Campo Viejo.

Where They Are Now

Since 2023, the enology program at Campo Viejo has been led by Ignacio López as Director of Enology. The house style he works within is built around pure, fruity flavors and a New World palate. “Wine is everything in my surroundings; it is a way of life.”

Signature

Ignacio's signature dishes include Campo Viejo Gran Reserva 2016, Campo Viejo Reserva 2018, and Campo Viejo Garnacha 2023.
