i. Biography
Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau is the head winemaker and co-proprietor of Domaine Didier Dagueneau in Saint-Andelain in the Loire Valley, France. Following formative training under François Chidaine and Olivier Jullien, he assumed full stewardship of the family estate in 2008 upon the death of his father, Didier Dagueneau. Under his direction, the domaine has continued to produce benchmark Sauvignon Blanc cuvées such as Silex and Pur Sang, as well as Jurançon wines at Les Jardins de Babylone, earning him Winemaker of the Year honors from La Revue du vin de France.
