i. Biography
Marie-Bernard Gillioz Praz is a Valais-based Swiss oenologist and winemaker who has produced her own wines in Grimisuat since 1992, building her cellar on the heights of Grimisuat after earlier work as a teacher and training in oenology at the School of Engineering at Changins. She is known for cultivating terraced vineyards on the hillsides of Sion and Saint-Léonard in Valais and for vinifying terroir-driven wines, including Cornalin and Fendant, separately by parcel and terroir.
