Masako Morishita is a Japanese chef based in Washington, D.C., who became executive chef at Maxwell Park after being approached for a tasting in 2021. She moved to Perry’s in October 2022 as executive chef and later won the 2024 James Beard Emerging Chef award. Perry’s describes her as a James Beard Award-winning chef and continues to feature her Japanese breakfast program.
