Matt Bell

Matt Bell is Michter’s Distiller and Vice President of Production, overseeing day-to-day operations at the company’s Shively Distillery and Fort Nelson Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. He studied biology at the University of Kentucky, began in whiskey through research and development work at Alltech and Town Branch Distillery, and later worked at Wild Turkey Distillery as Distillery Supervisor before joining Michter’s. After serving as Michter’s Distillery Manager, he was promoted to Distiller and then to his current vice presidential production role.
