i. Biography
Nick Hao is a Chinese-born bartender and bar operator based in Toronto, Ontario, known for his laboratory-driven and culinary-influenced approach to cocktail development. After bartending at Sober Company in Shanghai and Mother Cocktail Bar in Toronto, he co-founded the cocktail venues Slice of Life in 2024 and Uh Bar in 2025. In 2026, he created and launched the beverage program for Baba, an all-day café and snack bar in Toronto's Lawrence Park neighbourhood.
