Seng Luangrath is a Laos-born chef and restaurateur best known as the founder, chef, and owner of Thip Khao in Washington, D.C., which opened in 2014 and became a flagship for the Lao Food Movement. She is also identified in current coverage as the chef and owner of Layla at MacArthur Place in Sonoma, California, and as the operator of multiple restaurants in and around the Washington area. Thip Khao has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand annually since 2018 and has been recognized by Bon Appétit and The New York Times.
