i. Biography
Thomas Lorival is the co-owner and co-director of Le Clos des Sens in Annecy-le-Vieux, where he serves as chef sommelier and director of salle. He joined the restaurant in 2016, was named co-director in 2019/2020, and became one of the owners when Laurent and Martine Petit transferred the house to him and Franck Derouet in late 2022, with the change official in January 2023. Coverage from Michelin and French press describes him as part of the team leading the restaurant’s locavore, lake- and vegetable-focused approach.
