i. Biography
Alexander van Beek is the General Director of Château Giscours in Margaux and Caiarossa in Tuscany. He arrived at Château Giscours in 1995 after completing an MBA in Finance, and in 1998 Eric Albada Jelgersma entrusted him with the management of Château Giscours and Château du Tertre; he later also took on management of Caiarossa, which the Albada Jelgersma family acquired in 2004.
