Martine Bauer is the chef and co-owner of Bar Pompette in Toronto’s Little Italy, a sister concept to the Bauer family’s earlier Pompette restaurant. She is described in multiple sources as a French-trained chef and as a former private chef at Hôtel de Matignon, the official residence of the French Prime Minister. Public reporting also places her as a co-founder/owner across the Pompette businesses in Toronto.
