Melissa Perfit is the executive chef at Equal Parts in North Beach, San Francisco, a Mexico City-inspired restaurant and bar at 478 Green Street. She is a Top Chef alum and a longtime San Francisco seafood chef whose menu at Equal Parts emphasizes California seafood such as green cioppino and roasted branzino. Prior to Equal Parts, reporting links her to Hog Island Oyster Co. Bar Tartine, Hard Water, Popi's Oysterette, Bar Crudo, Farina, and RN74.
