Michael Hill-Smith

Michael Hill-Smith AM MW is an Australian wine producer, judge, and consultant based in Australia. He became the first Australian to pass the Master of Wine examination in 1988 and won the inaugural Madame Bollinger Tasting Medal the same year. He co-founded Shaw + Smith in the Adelaide Hills in 1989 with his cousin Martin Shaw and later co-founded Tolpuddle Vineyard in Tasmania and MMAD Vineyard in McLaren Vale.
