i. Biography
Pierre Montégut is a Bordeaux winemaker and technical director associated with Château Suduiraut in Sauternes, where he has worked since 2004, and with Château Pichon Longueville Baron in Pauillac, where he joined in 2022. He trained in Bordeaux at ENITA and the Institut d’œnologie de Talence, and his early career included time in the Médoc, Vouvray, and Buzet before moving to Suduiraut. At Suduiraut, he has overseen both the estate’s Sauternes and dry white wines, and at Pichon Baron he took over technical leadership after Jean-René Matignon’s retirement.
