ENITA Bordeaux and the University of Bordeaux provided the technical base; internships at Ridge Vineyards in Sonoma County (2001) and Château Suduiraut in Sauternes (2001) added contrasting ground-level exposure to both international and French practice. Technical direction at Château Lezongars in Côtes de Bordeaux began in 2004, giving Marielle Cazaux a first leadership role in the cellar and vineyard interface. Since 2015, that experience has carried into the Managing Director and winemaker position at Château La Conseillante, one of Pomerol’s most closely watched estates.
