    i. Biography

    Mitch Laughren is the partner and co-executive chef at Le Violon in Montréal’s Plateau-Mont-Royal neighborhood. He began his culinary career at Bymark in Toronto, refined his skills under Chef Brooke McDougall, moved to Montréal in 2013, and later worked with Danny Smiles at Le Bremner before becoming executive chef at the Willow Inn. He is one of Le Violon’s co-owners/co-executive chefs at 4720 Rue Marquette.
